Physiotherapy software for $99.99, ‘a lot of people will not use it’

Physiotherapies, which offer massage therapy, are offering a free download of their software to the public, which users can download and use for free.
The program, called “Physiotherapy.org,” is intended for people who have never used a computer before, but who are looking for a way to get a hands-on workout.
“The free version is for people that are just starting to explore computer use and want to learn more about computer usage and how it can improve their health,” said Dr. Chris Lipski, chief executive officer of the PhysiTherapy Institute, which owns the software.
The company said that the program is a big hit.
The free version includes a “full suite of features” that can be used for “pain management, exercise, sleep, mental and physical wellbeing,” and has an “unlimited number of advanced features,” such as “a personalized home gym,” the company said.
Lipskis said that people can sign up for the free program by logging in at www.physitotherapy.com and clicking the “Get Started” link.
He added that the free version also includes some advanced features such as an app that allows users to “start an exercise routine, monitor sleep and mood, and find out what they can do to improve their fitness and mood.”
The program will run for one week from September 16 to October 1, and users will be able to use it on their own computers for free, but they will be required to pay $99 a year to the company.
A $99 cost for the $99 version comes at a cost of $2,500.
Dr. Jonathan Cohen, a clinical professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences at New York University, said that while it is not clear whether the program has a large audience, he is not surprised by its popularity.
“There’s a lot of anxiety and a lot uncertainty surrounding this program,” he said.
“People are just trying to get to the bottom of the science behind the claims that are being made about how these kinds of things work, and I think there’s a little bit of an under-reaction to it, because people are just not sure what the evidence is.”
Cohen said that, in his opinion, there are two ways that people could make use of the software: Either they can download it and use it for free (he said he doesn’t think they should) or they can pay a fee to use the software (he does not think they will).
Cohen said he thinks that the programs effectiveness at helping people who are in a vulnerable situation like an emergency, or someone who has an underlying medical condition, is not that great.
“I’m not sure that people are going to be willing to pay for it,” he added.
“If you can’t get a good workout from it, then I think the money is not going to make much difference to someone who doesn’t have a good physical or mental health history.”
