How to build a $30,000 physiotherapy machine for $30K
In this post, we will look at how to build an inexpensive physiotherapy treadmill, and how to use that to get your daily workout in.
It’s simple, but effective.
The main thing you’ll need is a cheap, disposable plastic model, which you can buy online or in your local hardware store.
We’ll use the $30 price tag for our treadmill because it is the one that is cheapest and we have a cheap model on hand to start.
Here are the tools you’ll want to get started: • A few sheets of plywood.
You’ll want enough to cover the treads and the track, but not so much that you’ll have to glue them together.
We recommend the 1×8, which is a little wider than 1/8″ and the 4×8 which is wider than 4×6.
It can also be used as a frame for the treadmill.
• A drill and some drill bits.
You can buy the bits for $1.50 each on Amazon, but they’re not terribly helpful.
You could also buy a drill with a bit that cuts through a thicker layer of plastic. • 1-1/4″ drill bit.
We use a 1/4″ drill bit because it’s smaller than a regular 1/2″ drill.
It works best for the thickness of the plywood that we want to use.
If you don’t have the bit on hand, you can use a standard 1/32″ drill and a few 1/16″ bits.
We don’t need the bits we use for the tread, though.
• Drill bit holder.
You don’t want to drill holes through your plywood or track, so we use a drill bit holder that you can place on top of your treadmill and attach to your machine.
We found the one we use the most to work best for us.
• An old-fashioned drill press.
We like the one in our old-school car, but we’re also open to trying some other machines.
If your machine has a built-in air compressor, you’ll also need a tape.
Tape is usually cheaper than tape that comes with your machine, but it’s not as durable.
You might need a second type of tape to seal your machine against air leaks.
You probably don’t own a drill press, so you might need to use some sort of wrench to drill through the plywoods or track.
We usually use a set of 8mm bits, but some people use a smaller set of bits and use them to drill a wider variety of holes.
• Safety glasses.
Your treadmill will probably need to have some kind of safety glass installed on the outside of the machine, so make sure to get something that won’t come off during your workout.
• Plastic mat.
We’ve had great success with a 4×4 that’s made of some cheap plastic that has been sprayed with silicone rubber.
You only need to put your treadmill on it once and it’ll hold up fine.
If that doesn’t work, you could always buy a piece of 1×6 plastic and spray it on the inside of the treadmill to make it stick.
You may also want to consider a foam mat, which can be bought at hardware stores for $5-10.
It will work with most treadmill models and is sturdy enough to hold up to being pushed around by your feet.
• 3/4-inch drill bit and drill bits, a drill and bit holder, and a drill.
You should already have your 3/8-inch bit and the drill bit, so this is where you will spend the most time.
If it’s an older machine, you might want to go to your local drill and saw mill.
You’re probably going to need the bit for the front of the tread and some bits for the sides.
To get your machine up to speed, you’re going to want to take the tread out and push it around with your feet, but don’t forget to take your time and keep a safe distance between yourself and the machine.
If there’s a gap between the tread tread and the tread side, you may have to make a small cut in the ply.
This isn’t going to hurt much, but make sure it’s deep enough so you can get the drill to the hole in the tread without breaking the ply, which could lead to your leg breaking.
We had to use a small pocket knife to remove the ply from the machine because we were too close to the edge.
When the machine is ready, you should be able to get it running without the tread sticking out too far, but that’s not always possible.
We took a few steps to get the tread on, but once we did, it didn’t work.
You will also want a safety glass for your machine because your machine will likely need to be tested after it’s done running.
