Physiotherapy Associates Lakewood: ‘It’s an amazing opportunity’
Physiotherapists who have a master’s degree in the field of sports medicine or allied health can apply for the position of Associate Physiostructures Physiator or Physiotechnologist, according to the Physiothoracic Associates website.
They must be certified in the use of an approved physiotherapeutic device.
It’s an “opportunity to join a great group of experienced and passionate health professionals who are focused on the needs of the medical community,” said Dr. Michael Kochel, a professor of orthopedic medicine at Johns Hopkins University.
The position is open from Jan. 1 through Dec. 31, 2019.

It also lists the positions available through the University of Michigan, the University at Buffalo, the New England Medical School, the Johns Hopkins Medical School and other programs.
“Physiotherapeutics is a broad field of health care.
This position will enable the Physiatry Associates program to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support the advancement of the field,” said the university in a statement.
