There’s a huge number of people who suffer from anorexia or bulimia, but it’s rare to see a physio who’s experienced it, or even a masseuse who’s done it, says the British physiotherapist, who also works with those with conditions such as anxiety, autism and depression.
She has a message for those out there looking to get in touch: It’s not the best way to manage your symptoms, but you may be able to get an appointment with a physiotherapist or massage therapist to help you achieve better health.
You can have your massage in a doctor’s office or physiotherapy room, where the patient is monitored, and the therapist will be there to help with the massage.
They will also assess your condition, discuss your symptoms and assess your progress.
